Mark Carnes
Lead Pastor
After graduating from Wingate University on a tennis scholarship and spending a year in Nashville pursuing a recording contract, Mark felt called to full-time Ministry, and the journey began from there to where he is now. Mark is a gifted Communicator who is passionate about using the Creative Arts to glorify God and reach people for Christ. He is married to his wife Lori, and they have three “all-boy” young boys that keep them on the go! He loves sports, exercise, writing, creating, music, and simply spending time with his family.
Bill Coleman
Associate Pastor
Bill has a passion for communicating the Word of God and for connecting the gospel to people in our community and around the world. Though he takes God’s Word and his faith seriously, he doesn’t take himself seriously. He loves to laugh and have a good time. He is married to Tiffany and they have 2 college age “children.” He enjoys sports, hiking, and eating.
Chet Turk
Connections Pastor
Chet, his wife Alicia, and their twin boys Forrest and Truett are originally from the Waxhaw/Monroe area. They served God for 10 years in Missouri and Florida before returning home to the Carolina's. Chet has served in the areas of Discipleship, Outreach and Worship and has a passion for leading others towards a vibrant relationship with Jesus. Chet has an MA in Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He loves hanging out with his boys, building relationships and taking walks with Alicia. Chet's hobbies include: sports, writing music, movies and creative writing. Chet's favorite scripture is Romans 5:1-2.
Doug Hardin
Care Pastor
Salvation, and freedom from addiction, came to Doug thru Jesus Christ in January 1980. In 37 years since, he has been a chaplain and a pastor of 5 churches. He now currently serves as Care Pastor of He's Alive Church and also ministers in The Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry. His passions are soul-winning, preaching, music, fishing & riding motorcycles.
He and his wife Candy are blessed with 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
Ann has an Associates Degree in Business & Marketing from Rowan Cabarrus Community College and has served as a Notary Public for 33 years. She is blessed with three grown children, five grandchildren and number six is on the way in 2020. Her passion is reaching out to people, especially women; to help them overcome adversity and experience healing. Ann enjoys reading and is a freelance writer for two local newspapers. She hopes to publish a book one day. Ann also enjoys making all-natural soap and has an online soap business. She loves to ride her bicycle and spend time in the great outdoors.

Laura graduated from NC State with a degree in Graphic Design. She has been blessed to use her skills and talents within ministry for almost 10 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have one daughter, Lydia. She enjoys baking and playing games with her family.
